About the role

Responsible for providing special education services to preschool children with identified needs. Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans, and implement educational programs tailored to each child’s unique requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify learning needs of preschool children.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in classroom settings.
  • Collaborate with parents, other educators, and therapists to ensure consistent support for children’s development.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood special education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching license or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of early childhood development and special education principles.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in using technology tools for special education.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
