What You'll Do

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs, strengths, and goals.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies, adaptive tools, and sensory-friendly activities to support learning.
• Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to integrate services into daily routines.
• Track and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
• Communicate regularly with families, offering updates, resources, and encouragement.
• Model inclusive practices that promote empathy and respect among all students.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• State certification in Special Education (Early Childhood endorsement a plus).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Knowledge of IEP development, early intervention strategies, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and a deep commitment to inclusive education.
