Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes
- Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment
- Work directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service
- Develop creative, engaging curriculum based on children’s interests
- Communicate with parents daily about their children’s progress and achievements
- Engage with other childcare professionals to grow in your profession
- Address stressful situations professionally while ensuring smooth school operations
- Lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling, safety, and emergency situations (including lifting infants into and out of cribs for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers)
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- 90-hour preschool certification OR Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty
- Meets background check eligibility
- CPR/First Aid Training preferred
- Basic Health and Safety training required
- ADA training required
Pay
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
