Preschool Lead Teacher- Full-Time, Part-Year

Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is seeking a passionate Head Start Lead Teacher to lead a preschool classroom serving children ages 3–5. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging learning environment, implement developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, and support school readiness across all developmental areas.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children (3–5 years).
• Implement developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with Head Start Performance Standards.
• Support school readiness across all developmental areas (cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language).
• Guide daily classroom operations and mentor support staff.
• Monitor child progress and assess developmental milestones.
• Build strong partnerships with families to foster child growth and development.
