The Preschool Lead Teacher will teach and educate students according to Arkansas state standards, delivering the adopted curriculum developed by Conway Public Schools. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education
• Arkansas preschool through grade 4 teacher certification
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with grade-level, school, and District teams

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with District curricula
• Use various instructional strategies to meet different learning styles and student needs
• Stay updated on changes in standards, curriculum, resources, and education trends
• Integrate student use of technology in the classroom appropriately
• Assess, record, and report student development, progress, attainment, and behavior
• Embrace a continual learning mindset and reflective practice
• Use effective classroom management to ensure a safe learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress, behavior, or needs
• Participate in collaborative planning, meetings, and assistance teams at building and District levels
• Use assessment tools to gauge student progress, identify needs, and extend learning
• Maintain accurate records (grades, attendance, IEP progress if applicable) per District, state, and federal requirements
• Ensure fairness and impartiality in all student-related matters
• Supervise students at all times when entrusted to their care
• Engage in professional development to strengthen practice
• Develop and maintain professional and collegial relationships
• Perform other assigned duties
