Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities and learning experiences
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom routines
- SUPPORT children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- COMMUNICATE positively with parents and team members
- GUIDE and support assistant teachers or aides
- ENSURE classroom licensing and safety standards are followed
Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool or young children preferred
- MUST meet state requirements for childcare teachers
- STRONG communication and classroom management skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- POSITIVE ATTITUDE, PATIENCE, and RELIABILITY
