Preschool Lead Teacher

About This Role Job Overview: The Teacher will work to provide High Quality classroom programming. This includes the planning and implementation of Daily Activities based on the Developmentally Appropriate Practices set forth by WI YoungStar(YS), and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) a positive learning environment by planning, organizing and implementing a developmentally appropriate classroom. What You'll Do Work to Develop and Implement weekly plans aligned with YoungStar Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) and WMELS.Provide warm, nurturing care to the children in your care.Maintain ongoing observations, and assessments of enrolled children.Plan and implement daily activities to support goals for group and individual children.Assess each child's development and provide individualized planning to support their needs.Complete and maintain required records for children and classroomCommunicate with families and help to engage them in their child's learning.Maintain a safe, healthy environment through required disinfecting/ sanitizing procedures; immediately report any hazard (indoor/outdoor) Center Director or next in charge. Requirements Registry Level 12 or higher preferred or equivalent ECE credits.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work well with others.Maintain a positive, patient and flexible attitude.
