MISTAFF is a collaborative effort of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.

About the Role

We are seeking passionate educators to fill various teaching positions across Michigan K-12 schools. These roles are ideal for individuals committed to fostering student growth and achieving educational excellence in diverse learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Assess and record student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Participate in departmental and school meetings, as well as professional development opportunities.
• Integrate technology effectively into the curriculum to enhance learning.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan teaching certification or eligibility for alternative certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (required for certification).
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students, preferred but not required for all positions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
