About the role
The Greek School of Plato is a 501(c) (3) organization located in Brooklyn, NY, dedicated to providing students from Pre-K to 9th grade with an enriching experience in Greek language, history, and culture. We aim to foster an appreciation for Greek heritage through a supportive network of teaching staff, volunteers, parents, and friends, as well as the broader community.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise age and developmentally-appropriate activities for a given group of children under the supervision of an education director.
Qualifications
- New York State Teacher Certification (NYCHC 47.13 (d)(1)) OR
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood or related field and two years of supervised experience in a preschool program (if currently employed in a permitted group child care service) (NYCHC 47.13 (d)(2)) OR
- Approved Study Plan for staff meeting minimum requirements (NYCHC 47.13 (d)(3))
