Preschool Enrichment Teacher

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Early Childhood Education coursework is preferred. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is necessary. Experience or interest in cooking, youth fitness, yoga, movement activities, or sports/recreational programming is beneficial.

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Position Summary

We are seeking an engaging and energetic Preschool Teacher to support our enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where children can explore new skills, build confidence, and develop social-emotional growth through hands-on experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support enrichment programs:
    • Kids Café - guide children through hands-on cooking activities and simple recipes
    • Culinary Club - support older children in more advanced kitchen experiences
    • Young Yogis - facilitate movement, mindfulness, and storytelling activities
    • Kickstart Soccer - engage children in active, play-based soccer sessions
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities:
    • Promote Creativity and exploration
    • Teamwork and collaboration
    • Coordination and physical development
    • Social-emotional learning
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment:
    • Maintain appropriate ratios and active engagement
    • Supervise children during enrichment sessions
  • Adapt activities to meet varying developmental levels and learning styles:
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food-based programs
  • Communicate positively with parents and school leadership:
    • Regarding children’s participation and progress
