Preschool Educator (Full-Time & Part-Time)

About the role

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and health promotion. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within an established, community-based practice alongside experienced and collegial providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric populations
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Promote preventive care and patient education initiatives
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and organizational policies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of NP/ clinical experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; MSN preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• For Physician Assistant candidates: Graduation from an accredited program and current certification required
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth) and related healthcare technologies
• Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated commitment to quality care and professional development
