Preschool Educator (Full-Time & Part-Time)
About the role
We are seeking an Independent Mortgage Field Inspection Contractor to complete inspections on behalf of mortgage companies for existing mortgages throughout Coos County. The inspector’s primary focus is to locate, photograph, determine occupancy status, and document the condition of each property.
Inspectors complete occupancy verification inspections, vacant property inspections, and occasional specialty inspections such as property damage inspections. Examples of tasks include:
- Determining whether the property is occupied or vacant
- Reporting the condition of the property
- Delivering door cards
- Determining utility status
- Reporting observed damages
Field inspection experience or other relevant experience is preferred but not required. Currently, no special licensing or certifications are required for these types of inspections.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property inspections to verify occupancy and document property condition
- Take photographs of properties as required
- Complete and submit inspection reports accurately and timely
- Perform occasional specialty inspections, such as property damage assessments
Requirements
- A business entity such as an LLC or Corporation (candidate must be an established business entity or willing to establish one)
- Must be located in Coos County
- Weekday, daytime availability on a year-round basis (part-time availability is acceptable)
- Dependable and fuel-efficient transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Android or iOS smartphone
- Laptop or desktop computer
- Printer/scanner
- High-speed internet
- GPS device
- Volt stick/voltage tester
- Yard stick/meter stick
- Ability to pass a background check at the time of onboarding and yearly thereafter
Pay
$600.00 - $800.00 per month (flat fee per completed inspection; no mileage or expenses reimbursed)
Schedule
Flexible, part-time schedule with a requirement for weekday, daytime availability on a year-round basis.
