Solutions Review is a technology media company that has recently launched a new AI in education initiative through its Insight Jam community site and YouTube channel—with over 1 million subscribers. Over the past year, Insight Jam has convened more than 100 educators, learning leaders, and workforce innovators across a series of video panels and keynote discussions focused on the future of work and learning in the age of AI. These conversations brought together voices from universities, school systems, enterprises, and emerging AI-focused organizations—each sharing how they are navigating rapid change, experimenting with new models, and preparing people for what comes next. The Mesh Awards were created to build on these conversations, transforming dialogue into a platform for capturing, recognizing, and sharing real-world programs that help people develop the skills, confidence, and opportunity to thrive alongside AI.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, digitally savvy Social Media Coordinator to help us launch and grow the Mesh Awards. This entry-level position is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in digital marketing, community coordination, and social media strategy. In this role, you will help connect with our existing network of speakers and innovators, assist them in pulling together their award submissions, and spread the word across major social platforms to drive new entries.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to our established network of educators and business leaders via email and LinkedIn to guide them through the Mesh Awards application process.
  • Help draft and schedule daily social media posts (primarily on LinkedIn) to promote the awards and highlight early applicants.
  • Monitor our social media channels, respond to comments and questions about submission rules, and keep the conversation going.
  • Maintain a basic spreadsheet tracking which community members have been contacted, who has submitted, and how our social posts are performing.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience (internships, campus leadership roles, or personal portfolio work in social media/content creation are highly valued).
  • Regular, active user of LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok with an understanding of what makes a post engaging.
  • Familiarity with simple content creation tools like Canva or basic video editing software to create clean, professional-looking social graphics.
  • Clear, professional, and friendly written communication skills.
  • Ability to keep track of deadlines, follow up with people reliably, and stay organized.
  • A strong interest in AI technologies and how they are changing education and work (experience using generative AI tools for brainstorming or writing is a plus).
