About the role
- No experience required for entry-level positions
- Paid on-the-job training
- Entry-level wage set at $21.25/hour
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services for vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for any potential issues or areas that require attention
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and fluid level checks
- Basic computer knowledge/aptitude
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all supplies are readily available
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Inspect and replace car lights and wipers
- Check fluid levels and add fluids to vehicles as necessary
- Inspect/replace engine air filter and cabin air filter
- Add oil to engine in the proper amount based on vehicle specifications
- Remove, rotate, lift, and reinstall tires for tire rotation service
- Lubricate necessary components of the chassis/driveline
- Perform additional services on cooling systems and transmissions
- Perform second checks by visually verifying and ensuring all services are completed correctly
- Move between bays to perform services on multiple vehicles
- Frequently ascend/descend stairs, catwalks, or stepstools to retrieve parts or perform services
- Work for extended periods with arms above your head when performing services underneath the vehicle
- Position yourself to perform services under the hood, related to tires, or on the catwalk
- Move/transport items up to approximately 50 pounds
- Work with tools in tight or hard-to-reach areas
- Communicate verbally to ensure services are performed accurately, safely, and in the proper order
- Achieve and maintain SuperPro certification
- Follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all services

Work Environment
- Activities occur inside and outside in varying temperature conditions
- Exposure to noise levels requiring shouting to be heard above ambient noise
- Exposure to hazards, including moving mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, high heat, and chemicals
- Exposure to atmospheric conditions affecting the respiratory system or skin, such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or restricted ventilation
- Required to function in narrow aisles or passageways, such as catwalks
