About the Role

Truck Drivers (CDL Class B) transport materials and goods from ASA’s processing centers to customer locations using company fleet vehicles. Drivers adhere to DOT regulations, including inspections, delivery logs, and driving-hour tracking. As front-facing company representatives, they maintain professionalism and may address customer inquiries during deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and prioritization.
  • Ensure quality standards are met; champion ownership of the work center.
  • Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures; communicate issues with leadership.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations.
  • Properly secure and tarp material loads.
  • Verify delivery materials match the Bill of Lading (B.O.L.).
  • Manage delivery paperwork, including returning signed receipts.
  • Assist warehouse workers and customers with loading/unloading.
  • Serve as a professional company representative during deliveries.
  • Maintain workspace and truck cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the past 4 years or completion of a certified CDL driving school/training.
  • Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb up and down company fleet vehicles (e.g., flatbed trucks).
  • Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements.
  • Consistently lift at least 50 lbs multiple times per shift.
  • Pass initial drug test and physical.
