Preschool / Early Childhood Sports Coach (Hamilton County / Northside)

About the role

Amazing Athletes is the largest multi-sport enrichment program in the country, designed for children ages 2-12. Instructors teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports in a non-competitive environment, while incorporating lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy. As a Preschool Sports Coach, you will work with children to develop their physical skills in a fun, supportive setting. The company is mobile, traveling to schools or centers to provide classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-energy, engaging sports lessons to children ages 2-8 years old
• Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports (soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf) in a non-competitive environment
• Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy
• Lead games, drills, and obstacle courses designed to challenge and excite children in each class
• Ensure the safety of the children during classes
• Maintain a positive and fun learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress

Requirements

• Experience working with children, preferably ages 2-6, in a coaching or teaching capacity
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage children and keep them motivated and focused
• Willingness to be flexible
• Availability to work flexible hours
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive up to 30 minutes to a site

• Pay ranges between $20 and $22 per class, depending on experience
