Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for preschool children, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and nutritional standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of children.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary to keep the kitchen well-stocked.
- Assist in planning menus that promote healthy eating habits among young children.
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety.
- Willing and able to drive the school van.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a cooking or food preparation role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a preschool or similar environment.
- A commitment to stability and long-term employment.
