Preschool Co Lead Teacher

Job Summary

The Goddard School® located in Collegeville, PA is seeking a passionate, energetic, and positive Co-Lead Teacher for our Preschool I classroom. This position offers a competitive hourly wage, medical insurance, paid time off, and no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using Goddard's proprietary curriculum
• Foster a love of learning through creative, hands-on, engaging teaching methods
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and supervise children's safety
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Requirements

• A high school diploma required
• An associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
• 2-4 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
