Responsibilities

• Absorb and assist teachers with classroom activities and supervision
• Support children’s developmental and educational needs
• Help maintain classroom records and documentation
• Absorb and assist with classroom organization and cleanliness
• Supervise children during classroom and outdoor activities
• Support family engagement and communication

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• EDU 119 or CDA Credential preferred
• Experience working with young children preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license required

Qualifications

• Must be able to actively assist with classroom activities, supervise children in indoor and outdoor environments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of child development and learning theories
• Ability to handle emergencies and provide first aid

Pay

$14 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday 6:45am-2:45pm or 7:30am-3:30pm (40 hours/week)

Physical Demands

Must be able to actively assist with classroom activities, supervise children in indoor and outdoor environments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
