Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities and curricula
• Provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment for children
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute group activities
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress
• Support the implementation of the center's policies and procedures

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and reliable transportation (for bus drivers)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment tools
