About the role

This position involves assisting teachers in the daily care and education of children in a preschool setting. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with young children and possess the ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred but not required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and educational practices.

Pay

$21.37-$22.20 per hour for Assistant Teachers.

Schedule

Monday through Friday work week.
