Preschool Bus Driver (CDL Required) - 1:30p - 6:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid Class “C” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement.
• Meets all state preschool and bus driver requirements.
• Qualifies under Cadence Education’s insurance underwriting standards.
• Current CPR & First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily bus inspections to ensure top-notch safety per state and DMV standards.
• Follow all state rules and regulations to keep kids safe on every trip.
• Maintain a clean, fueled-up bus and a professional look that aligns with our dress code.
• Foster a positive, enriching environment with appropriate music and language.
• Stay on top of CDL, certifications, and paperwork to keep compliance in check.
• Be a team player, stepping into teacher or assistant duties when needed.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and parent events to stay engaged and grow.
• Safely transport preschoolers to and from school, making every trip a secure, happy adventure.
• Create a joyful, character-building vibe on the bus with kid-approved music and positive language.
• Inspect your certified bus daily to ensure it meets state licensing and DMV safety standards.
• Keep an eye on behavior, document concerns, and loop in the director to ensure smooth rides.
• Ensure safe drop-offs by handing kids over to authorized representatives with a smile.

Hourly pay range $17.00 - $20.00
