About the role

The Preschool Associate Teacher at Sylvan Community Preschool supports the educational and developmental needs of preschool-aged children under the guidance of a program administrator.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive child development program.
• Provide support to students and parents.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school required.
• Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred.
• One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.

Qualifications

• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit.
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Copies of Permits should be obtained from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website.

Benefits

A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental, and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.

Schedule

Part-time, 4 hours per day, 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM.

Pay

$21.75 - $26.64 per hour, with a maximum initial salary placement of Step 3 ($24.22/hr).
