Preschool Assistant Teacher

About This Role

We're seeking an assistant for our 3's and Pre-K classrooms at our Christian preschool in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate would be available to work 8am-3pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays.

What You'll Do

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behaviors and activities for ages 3-5
• Assist in classroom management of approximately 8-12 children, ages 3-5
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment (for both parents and children)
• Sending photos and activity updates throughout the day to parents

Requirements

• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card is required
• We're willing to conduct a background check on the successful candidate
• We're a faith-based Christian preschool and would prefer to hire someone who shares that faith
• At least 6 months of professional experience working with children and/or education in Early Childhood (or a related area) is necessary

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is a desirable addition to the candidate's skillset
