Preschool Assistant Teacher

About This Role We're seeking an assistant for our 3's and Pre-K classrooms at our Christian preschool in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate would be available to work 8am-3pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays. What You'll Do Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behaviors and activities for ages 3-5Assist in classroom management of approximately 8-12 children, ages 3-5Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment (for both parents and children)Sending photos and activity updates throughout the day to parents Requirements Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card is requiredWe're willing to conduct a background check on the successful candidateWe're a faith-based Christian preschool and would prefer to hire someone who shares that faithAt least 6 months of professional experience working with children and/or education in Early Childhood (or a related area) is necessary Nice To Haves CPR/First Aid certification is a desirable addition to the candidate's skillset Benefits Paid LeaveSick LeaveChild Care DiscountPTOSick time
