Preschool and Children’s Ministry Director

Large mid-Missouri Baptist church seeks a full-time Children’s Ministry Director with a passion for discipling children and equipping families.

About the role

Responsible for providing leadership, vision, and oversight for programming and events for children from birth through 6th grade.

Qualifications

• Exhibits spiritual maturity, integrity, and a servant-leadership mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, child development, or related field preferred
• Previous experience leading a church children’s ministry preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers
• Plan and coordinate curriculum and events
• Utilize church management software and basic technology tools
