Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage preschool students during extended care hours (before/after school).
- Support a Christ-centered atmosphere through words, actions, and modeling of Catholic values.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, including play, crafts, snacks, and rest time.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Monitor and support students’ emotional, social, and physical development.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents, and staff.
- Follow all school policies, procedures, and health/safety protocols.
- Support classroom teachers and staff as needed.
- Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or school setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
- Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
