Preprimary Associate Teacher

Responsibilities

Aid in hands-on activities tailored to meet children's needs and interests.

Maintain open lines of communication with parents, sharing their child's daily progress and milestones.

Ensure a safe and clean learning environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, with 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• A CDA, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift, carry, or hold children with a range of weights from 10 to 40 pounds; occasional lifting and carrying of heavier weights may be required.

The employee must demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and participate in various activities.

The employee should respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.

The employee must maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is between $14.65 - $18.20 per hour.

The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

The position is also eligible for a hiring incentive of $1,250.00 for full-time employees and $750.00 for part-time employees, payable after 100 days of employment.
