Prepress Process Specialist (Packaging & Metal Decoration)

About the role

We are seeking a Prepress Process Specialist to join our innovative manufacturing team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that customer artwork is prepared for print production, meeting quality, color, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and preflight artwork
• Create color separations
• Apply trapping
• Prepare press-ready files
• Produce digital proofs and printing plates
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy
• Operate plate imaging equipment
• Manage production priorities
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prepress experience, preferably in printing, packaging, or related manufacturing
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Esko, Hybrid Software Solutions, or similar prepress workflow software
• Knowledge of color separations, trapping, barcode creation, proofing, and press-ready file preparation
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in both office and production environments
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred
