Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate

Position Summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal.

Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area
Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures
Stock and rotate merchandise
Eliminate waste
Guide peers and provide attention to customer needs
Assist customers according to company policies and procedures

Requirements

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
Communicate effectively with the team
Be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas

Qualifications

Prepares food according to item specifications
Understand and plan future productions and mass productions
Prepare for seasonality
Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management
Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
Demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution

Skills

Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind
Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
