About the role

Prep Network (www.prepnetwork.com) operates over 100 websites focused on maximizing visibility and value for high school athletes. The company runs Prep Hoops, Prep Girls Hoops, Prep Redzone, Prep Dig, and Prep Lacrosse, with more than 300 scouts producing 2,500+ articles each month on basketball, football, and volleyball. It also hosts 100+ tournaments and showcases nationwide.

As a scout you will create written and social media content, attend high school and club games, review game film, and publish player‑driven analysis on Prep Network’s website. You will leverage your existing network of high school and college coaches to expand the Prep Network footprint.

Responsibilities

• Attend high school and club games and publish written and social media content.
• Promote players at all levels of collegiate recruitment.
• Collaborate with other Prep Network contributors to maximize value for teams, players, and coaches in your state.
• Network with coaches at all levels to grow the Prep Network brand.

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial mindset – help build the fastest‑growing high school sports network.
• Team player – willing to take on any task needed to build something great.
• Self‑motivated and driven – able to perform without direct supervision.
• Strong communicator – excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs).
