Summary Of Prep Cooks’ Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow prep lists created by chefs and kitchen leadership
  • Label and stock all cooking ingredients
  • Complete prep tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Wash, chop, sort, and prepare ingredients including fruits, vegetables, and meats
  • Measure quantities of seasonings and cooking ingredients
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate restocking needs
  • Learn and execute cooking methods and techniques used within the kitchen
  • Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
  • Monitor food and cooling room temperatures
  • Assist chefs with food preparation and additional culinary tasks as needed

Summary Of Line Cooks’ Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute cooking techniques under the direction of kitchen leadership
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and additional kitchen equipment
  • Ensure food and equipment temperatures are maintained correctly
  • Set up and break down workstations before and after shifts
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, workstations, equipment, and preparation areas
  • Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain quality and consistency standards throughout service
  • Assist chefs with food preparation and additional culinary tasks as needed

Summary Of Dishwashers’ Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper care and cleanliness of the dishwashing machine and dish area
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dishwashing areas
  • Support kitchen operations wherever needed

Essential Functions / Working Conditions

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to grasp and reach overhead
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry 50+ pounds
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for 8+ hours per day
