Prep Cook/Server PRN

About the role

Join a vibrant culinary team dedicated to making a positive impact on seniors' lives. You will be responsible for food preparation that aligns with hospitality standards, ensuring quality, quantity, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with daily tasks, meal prep, and service
• Wash dishes, stock carts, and prepare salads, soups, and desserts
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards while adhering to all food handling policies
• Support documentation of temperature logs, taste panels, and cleaning schedules
• Promote the organization's mission and values through dedicated service
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• Willingness to work with seniors and prepare therapeutic/modified diets
• Experience in preparing food in a senior living environment, meeting service standards
• Proficiency in all cooking methods with good knife skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and external stakeholders
• Ability to work on all holidays and special events

Qualifications

• Preferred: minimum one year of full-line cooking experience
