About the role
The Prep Cook supports the daily culinary operations of the Milwaukee Brewers Major League clubhouse under the direction of the Executive Chef. Key responsibilities include preparing ingredients and recipes according to standardized production sheets, portioning proteins and prepared foods to established specifications, and assisting with meal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and recipes according to standardized production sheets.
- Portion proteins and prepared foods to established specifications.
- Prepare and label food in accordance with Brewers recipes, production standards, and food safety procedures.
- Aid in breakfast, lunch, snack, and post-game meal preparation.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional culinary experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, commissary, institutional, or athletic foodservice environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and SERV Safe certification preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit.
