PREP COOK (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time PREP COOK position at Johnson City Medical City located at 400 North State of Franklin Road, Johnson City, TN 37604. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time with days varying, typically 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays. Prior food service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
• Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels, and dates all food items according to policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Serves customers at multiple stations using approved food recipes and production standards.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels, and dates all food items according to policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Resolves customer concerns.

Qualifications

Prior food service experience is required.

Pay

$14.25 per hour.
