Prep Cook

About the role

Legends Global, the world's leading venue management and services company, has an immediate opening for the position of a Prep Cook in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meals maintain a high level of quality and are prepared in a consistent and timely manner
• Supervises storage areas to assist in ordering food and supplies
• Maintains sanitation standards of all food production areas and the cook's refrigerator
• Fills special diet orders following menu extension guides
• Cleans food preparation area, including utensils used and equipment; washes dishes, takes out trash, mops floors
• Ensures all electrical and gas appliances are turned off before leaving kitchen area and at end of shift
• Responsible for daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
