About the role
A successful Prep Cook at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:
- A "can do" attitude — the ability to work quickly and confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification.
- Understand how to multitask — learn from mistakes, and look for opportunities to step in and help other departments even before being asked.
Requirements
- 1+ years kitchen/work experience (preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person).
- Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.
- Flexible schedule standards. Prep Cook shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic and time of year. Shifts start as early as 7 am Monday - Saturday.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
