Responsibilities
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
- Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces.
Physical Demands
- Frequent to continuous need for manual dexterity of both hands
- Frequent exposure to cold/ below freezing and high heat temperatures
- Standing for long periods of time
- Reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds
- Bending, squatting, and stooping for cleaning activities throughout the shift
Work Conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business
