Major Responsibilities Include Prepare food items from scratch for lunch, dinner, and/or catering useReview menus prior to preparation of foodAssure that all food procedures are followedCoordinate food service with other departments as necessaryFollow all sanitation guidelinesBecome familiar with new menu items/dishes Requirements High School diploma or equivalentGraduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferredMinimum of 3 year of food preparation experience requiredExperience with quantity food preparation preferredDemonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipesKnowledge of proper nutritional requirementsHave a Food Service Sanitation Certificate (preferred)
