Preop Recovery RN (PRN)
About the role
Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician's orders and centers policies.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the provision of pre-operative care to patients
- Assures that patients are prepared for surgery according to protocol
- Assists with post-operative care and monitoring of patients
- Documents patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Current state RN License
- CPR required
- ACLS required
- Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative surgical patient care
Salary
$34.00 - $44.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.
