Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of stand workers in the VIP area.
- Oversee and/or participate in stand set-up and closing procedures (e.g., counting inventory, prep, cleaning).
- Ensure all work stations remain clean and sufficiently stocked; order replacement stock from runners as necessary.
- Efficiently and accurately complete required paperwork.
- Ensure employees adhere to alcohol policies and food preparation guidelines set by Legends and the board of health.
- Be knowledgeable of all positions and able to fill any role in the location if needed.
- At closing, work with stand personnel to count ending inventory, clean equipment, and organize stock for the next event.
- Operate POS system, including voids, credit card issues, and closing procedures.
- Input daily event sheets and reports.
- Collaborate with the customer service department to improve service in assigned areas.
- Conduct inventory at assigned locations.
- Manage schedules for assigned areas, including making changes, printing, and posting them.
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
- Interact with guests and staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Possess extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered.
- Know the venue layout and assigned area to provide guests with personal service and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
- Work as a team with associates and other service departments within the venue.
- Follow and encourage team adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including reporting unsafe conditions and completing safety training.
- Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system on the same day they are reported.
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant, or catering location.
- High School Diploma; some college preferred.
- Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize as needed.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change quickly.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Able to read, maintain information, and perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to move quickly and act on assigned duties within established production and service time frames.
- Maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.
- Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
- Able to stand, kneel, lift (up to 30 pounds), carry items, push carts, walk at a fast pace, and bend down.
- Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
Schedule
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
