About the role
The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on managing banking relationships, connecting clients with specialists, and delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice.
Responsibilities
- Grows, deepens, and retains client relationships through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Manages banking needs with an advice-based approach, explaining banking solutions and coordinating introductions with internal partners.
- Engages in client outreach and regularly meets with clients to discuss financial information and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Escalates banking-related issues and risks when necessary, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Facilitates loan applications, prepares documents, and conducts loan closings.
- Trains and acts as a mentor to newer colleagues, sharing expertise and best practices.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
- Life & Health license preferred
- Active NMLS registration upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required
Qualifications
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Ability to maintain an active NMLS registration
- Understanding and adherence to relevant policies and procedures

$27.75 - $41.50 USD per hour
