About the role
The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on growing, deepening, and retaining these clients' banking relationships through proactive outreach and advice-based approaches.
Responsibilities
- Grows, deepens, and retains client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice.
- Manages and addresses clients' banking needs with an advice-based approach, demonstrating proficiency in banking and credit products.
- Converts referrals, leads, and prospects to acquire and retain new mass affluent clients.
- Engages in client outreach and regularly meets with clients to conduct needs-based conversations, review financial information, and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Delivers excellent client service, reviews banking-related issues, and escalates risks appropriately.
- Maintains an active registration status with NMLS and adheres to relevant policies and procedures.
- Partners with Wealth Financial Advisors for warm referrals and joint pipeline reviews, preparing for future client interactions.
- Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
- Understands and adheres to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.
- Implements TD’s client Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying required customer identification information and performing client Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence as outlined in the Business Unit AML procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial / banking experience
- Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) strongly preferred
- Lifetime and Health licenses preferred
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Active registration status with NMLS upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required

$25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
