About the role
The Premier Banker role is an experienced position that involves servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role is responsible for managing these clients' banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to meet all their financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Grows, deepens, and retains client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice, and differentiating with a personalized, connected experience.
- Manages a complex client portfolio and ensures all financial needs are met through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Converts referrals, leads, and prospects into new clients, engaging with them through various means like phone, email, and appointments.
- Reviews and analyzes financial information, suggests appropriate solutions, and coordinates introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
- Escalates banking-related issues and risks when necessary, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Facilitates loan applications and conducts loan closings, maintaining an active NMLS registration status.
- Engages with partners like Wealth Financial Advisors for joint pipeline reviews and client interactions.
- Coaches and provides feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
- Life & Health license preferred
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Maintains an active NMLS registration status upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required
Qualifications

- $25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour
