About the role

The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on managing these clients' banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to meet all their financial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Grows, deepens, and retains client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice, and differentiating with a personalized, connected experience.
  • Manages a complex client portfolio, ensuring all banking needs are met through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Converts referrals, leads, and outbound prospects to acquire new mass affluent clients.
  • Engages in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means, meeting clients regularly to discuss financial information and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Escalates banking-related issues/risks appropriately and adheres to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates loan applications and conducts loan closings, maintaining an active NMLS registration status.
  • Partners with Wealth Financial Advisors for warm referrals and joint pipeline review meetings, preparing for future client interactions.
  • Coaches bank staff on articulating the program's value and making Premier referrals for mass affluent clients.
  • Understands and adheres to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures, and implements the Client Identification Program (CIP).

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years financial / banking experience
  • Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
  • Life & Health license preferred
  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
  • Maintains an active NMLS registration status upon hire
  • Consultative sales experience required

Pay

$25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
