About the role
The Premier Banker is an experienced banker responsible for servicing a complex client portfolio of mass affluent clients. This role involves managing these clients' complete banking relationship and connecting them with specialists to meet all financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Grows, deepens, and retains client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice, and differentiating with a personalized, connected experience.
- Manages and addresses clients' banking needs through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Converts referrals, leads, and outbound prospects to acquire and retain new mass affluent clients.
- Engages in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means, and regularly meets with clients to review and analyze financial information.
- Delivers excellent client service, reviews moderately complex client concerns, and escalates banking-related issues/risks when necessary.
- Maintains an active registration status with NMLS and adheres to relevant policies, procedures, FINRA, and regulatory banking requirements.
- Partners with Wealth Financial Advisors for warm referrals and joint pipeline review meetings to prepare for future client interactions.
- Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the program's value and make Premier referrals for mass affluent clients.
- Understands and adheres to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.
- Implements TD’s client Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying required customer identification information and performing other client Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements as outlined in the Business Unit AML procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
- Lifetime Life & Health license preferred
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Active registration status with NMLS upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required

$27.75 - $41.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
