About the role

The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role involves managing banking relationships, connecting clients with specialists, and delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice.

Responsibilities

  • Grow, deepen, and retain client relationships through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Manage and address clients' banking needs with an advice-based approach.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and prospecting efforts to acquire new clients.
  • Engage in client outreach and regularly meet with clients to discuss financial information and solutions.
  • Provide excellent client service and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Wealth Financial Advisors for client referrals and pipeline management.
  • Understand and adhere to regulations, TD policies, and procedures.
  • Implement and comply with the Client Identification Program (CIP).
  • Facilitate loan applications and loan closings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of financial/banking experience.
  • Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE).
  • Licensed in Life and Health.
  • Experience with retail and small business banking.
  • Active NMLS registration.
  • Consultative sales experience.

Qualifications

  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking.
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients.
  • Ability to maintain an active NMLS registration.
  • Strong relationship building and selling skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter with high energy level.
  • Positive attitude towards change and commitment to TD's Shared Commitments.

  • Proficiency in banking and credit products.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.

$25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
