Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment
• Work directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service
• Develop creative, engaging curriculum based on children’s interests
• Communicate with parents daily about their children’s progress and achievements
• Engage with other childcare professionals to continue professional growth
• Address stressful situations calmly and professionally while multitasking
• Lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling, safety, and emergency situations (including lifting infants into and out of cribs for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers)

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (preferred)
• 1-2 years of previous experience (preferred)
• Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty
• Meets background check eligibility
