About the role

Serves as a senior technical lead within the Analytics and Reporting team, helping guide the day-to-day delivery of reporting solutions, analytics projects, dashboards, and data insights. This role acts as a primary partner for complex reporting requests, supports workload coordination, mentors analysts, and ensures reporting outputs are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of complex dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, data models, and automated reporting solutions using BI tools, SQL, Excel, and enterprise data sources.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for reporting intake, requirements gathering, prioritization support, and solution design for high-impact business requests.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches, metric definitions, reporting logic, and clear visualizations that support decision-making across PSBB.
  • Provide technical guidance and quality review for reporting deliverables, including SQL logic, data validation, dashboard design, documentation, and user experience.
  • Partner with the Manager to coordinate team priorities, monitor request pipelines, identify delivery risks, and support resource planning for reporting and analytics work.
  • Support data governance by maintaining consistent metric definitions, documenting data sources, validating outputs, and escalating data quality issues when identified.
  • Conduct advanced analysis, trend monitoring, exception reporting, and root-cause analysis to identify performance drivers, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Product, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Technology, and regional leadership to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, actionable, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Mentor analysts on SQL development, dashboard design, data visualization standards, documentation practices, and analytical storytelling.
  • Contribute to executive presentations, leadership updates, project readouts, and recurring business reviews by summarizing insights and recommended actions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes, automate repeatable reporting, improve dashboard usability, and increase reporting scalability.
  • Support a collaborative team culture focused on accuracy, ownership, continuous learning, and consistent delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in Analytics, Reporting, Analysis, business intelligence, finance, banking operations, or a similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Excel, data visualization, and reporting automation preferred.
  • Experience leading complex reporting initiatives, mentoring analysts, coordinating project work, or serving as a technical subject matter expert.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in business intelligence processes and experience implementing analytical change in growth environments; experience in project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in overseeing automation initiatives or process improvement projects preferred. Familiarity with workflow optimization and integration of automated solutions is a plus.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
