About the role

Tuff Shed, a leading provider of storage buildings and garages, seeks construction/laborers/builders at its manufacturing facility. For more information, visit: https://youtu.be/-68dUvyeeyA. Training is provided, and work is done indoors.

Responsibilities

• Reads, understands, and executes written, oral, or diagrammed directions
• Safely operates various power tools (saws, drills, routers, pneumatic nail guns, air compressed tools)
• Uses a tape measure, working drawings, and speed square efficiently and accurately
• Fabricates Tuff Shed products according to cut sheets or engineer drawings
• Paints products according to Tuff Shed standards
• Maintains power and pneumatic tools and ensures they are safe and operational
• Notifies the Production Foreman if inventory levels are low
• Lifts and moves up to 50 pounds for extended periods
• Operates basic power tools and follows safety guidelines
• Works collaboratively with team members

Requirements

• Knowledge of construction industry and basic carpentry skills
• Basic painting skills
• Ability to follow instructions and use basic arithmetic
• Experience with prefabrication function or similar roles
• Experience operating power tools and measuring tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
