ARCO hires only the best and brightest dedicated to providing our clients with superior solutions, cultivating our award-winning workplace culture, and driving success at all levels of the business. We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in our Philadelphia office (King of Prussia).
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings with design/build professionals to understand project requirements.
- Research and collect site specific information to initiate the land development process.
- Manage the entitlement/project approval process.
- Prepare schematic site plans to illustrate site developability based on site constraints.
- Produce colored renderings of land plans.
- Perform site investigative due diligence.
- Prepare schematic site plan, grading & utility plans to best inform site planning effort for cost and constructability.
- Review project design drawings to assist project management team.
- Aid in civil/site training for associates.
- Meet with customers to review concept plans, discuss advantages to multiple approaches, and work to define direction of project with design/build contracting team.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with up-to-date information and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of engineering and land planning, with a focus in the industrial asset class.
- BS in Civil Engineering or other Engineering or Design discipline.
- 4+ years of engineering and land planning experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required.
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Project and Excel.
